When you think of countdowns normally things such as the New Years ball dropping and watching the Space Shuttle launch come to mind. Those few precious seconds leading up to a rush of revelry can feel like a small eternity... As of this writing we're at about t-minus 2628000 seconds, give or take a few. Let me just say that I'm not exactly the type that has a whole lot of patience for anything, plus I've never counted that high, forwards or backwards, in my entire life.
As you can see by the status update the "next" landmark is supposed to be the Statue of Liberty. I can assure you it will promptly be driven past. Everything else however is entirely accurate to the best of my knowledge and with each posting I hope to keep using these quick, informative and stylish pictures to keep you updated on our progress. Pictures are better anyway.
