On a quick yet related note to Polly's Pancake's, on our very recent trek related journey of a thousand miles Jared and I totally ate at one of the countries best ice cream joints (as listed by 500 Things to Eat Before It's Too Late)!
I highly recommend Woodside Farm Creamery in Hockessin, DE. The best part of it all was that it's only about 5 minutes from my home down there! Of course we'd been eating that ice cream for years not realizing that is wasn't just good, it was travel book good!
More on our adventure that took us to four states, numerous truck stops, and ended with both elation and exhaustion a little later.
